Valencia’s cross country teams are off to a strong start this school year

Valencia High School’s cross country teams continue their excellence with outstanding performances in the Empire League Challenge. On September 30, 2021, during the Empire League Challenge, Valencia Cross Country teams placed first for both boys and girls at the varsity and junior varsity levels.  The freshman teams also had strong showings, with 2nd place finishes for both the boys and girls. For boys’ varsity level, the Tigers started five freshmen to run in the varsity race, and they demonstrated poise and Valencia strength competing against mostly juniors and seniors from other Empire League schools. Way to go, VHS Tigers!
