Yorba Linda High School’s Mustang Band & Guard came together with the Travis Ranch School Trailblazers on Saturday, October 9 for the Placentia Heritage Day Parade!  The Yorba Linda community was out in full support of the schools’ first community performance.

Yorba Linda’s musicians made sure to spend time talking with the younger musicians in preparation for their joint performances. Under the direction of Bincins Garcia (YLHS) & Nicholas Nuss (TRMS), the Mustangs and Trailblazers played Success March and the Hey Song together down Kraemer Boulevard!

“It was a beautiful day for a Parade!” shared Garcia. “Join us on November 10, 2021, in Bradford Stadium at Valencia High School for the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District’s Band Pageant!”

Annually, all PYLUSD middle and high school marching bands and guards participate in the City of Placentia’s parade. It is a tradition that students, staff, and families look forward to every year!
