“Thankful for PYL Employees” campaign will show gratitude to staff throughout November

Every year, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) recognizes and celebrates the hard work of educators and classified staff districtwide through various appreciations weeks. Although these weeks are filled with extensive “thanks” to the district’s dedicated staff, PYLUSD will once again take it one step further.

Beginning on Monday, November 1, and throughout the month of November, PYLUSD will spotlight teachers and classified staff through a social media campaign titled “Thankful For PYL Employees.” The district first began this campaign in 2017 by showcasing teachers but has since made it inclusive of all staff.

In order to showcase the outstanding individuals that so thoughtfully educate and support PYLUSD students, the district will share a picture of a different employee each weekday. It will be accompanied by a quote explaining their “why” behind teaching or serving in their role.

Help the district give “thanks” to employees by following PYLUSD on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram (@pylusd), and sharing/retweeting the posts including the hashtag #ThankfulForPYLEmployees.
