Esperanza’s College and Career Readiness students interview with PYLUSD leaders

EHS college and career readiness students.

Esperanza High School students in the College and Career Readiness Seminar class, commonly referred to as CCR, prepared for mock interviews with a rehearsal on Tuesday with Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Superintendent Dr. Jim Elsasser and other leaders. Wednesday was the full “Dress for Success Mock Interview Day” with Assistant Superintendent Rick Lopez, Director Gina Aguilar, Counselor on Special Assignment Beth Scott, and other PYLUSD leaders. The students prepared resumes and had conversations stating their strengths and areas of growth. They also described to their interviewer how they are going to reach their goals and why they are the best candidate for the job. These students did an amazing job selling themselves while learning real-life skills. Way to go, Aztecs!
