Placentia Fire and Life Safety Department spends time with Parkview students

On Wednesday, October 12, Parkview School students in kindergarten through fifth grade had a special visit from the Placentia Fire and Life Safety Department. This was an early Red Ribbon Week assembly for the Panthers. The firefighters gave a presentation on making healthy choices and how they help the community. They even offered a demonstration about some of the tools they use in their daily work. Each student eagerly received a red fire hat and stickers and had the unique opportunity to sit in the fire truck.

“We thank our local heroes for the work they do!” Principal Dominique Polchow shared.

Parkview School is a TK-12 home school program designed for students who desire an alternative to traditional classroom instruction. Instructional strategies may include independent study, online learning, concurrent classes, and workshops.
