Mrs. Lester’s 4th graders at Lakeview Elementary made holiday cards to send to active military members, one being a former Lakeview Lion, Tyler Forward, who was recently on leave from the US Coast Guard until he was deployed again in October.
Tyler had shared with his former teachers that receiving letters of encouragement out at sea meant the world to him. Her students, along with other Lakeview Lions, enjoyed sending messages of gratitude and good tidings to Tyler and all of the men and women who serve our country in his division.
