Bryant Ranch School’s Little Diggers Garden Club kicked off their school year with some new and exciting activities! This year’s theme for the club focuses on Being Thankful and Giving Back

This year, students are given the opportunity to contribute to the “Kindness Rocks” Garden in the school’s garden center. The Explorers can choose a decorated rock or a blank one to create at home. The “Kindness Rocks” are to keep, give away, or add to the garden.

The garden’s 10 planters will also include their own individual theme, such as “garden salad”, “book garden”, “pollinator garden”, “herb garden”, “sensory garden”, and several others. The planters will focus on diversity, inclusivity, sensory, and giving back to the school and community.

October’s activity included the club’s annual “Thankful Pumpkin,” where students write what they are most thankful for on their pumpkin, and then display it in the school office.

Bryant Ranch’s Garden Club has an all-inclusive, seed-to-table curriculum that focuses on seed and soil health, compost, biodiversity, plant culture, pollinators, recycling, and STEAM. Way to go, Explorers!
