El Dorado High School’s Career Day was a huge success on Friday, February 10, 2023. Over 70 speakers came and spent 90 minutes meeting with students. Speakers shared information about their path to their career, the requirements, salary, and a typical workday. Students had the opportunity to select three speakers to listen to based on their fields like the military, communications, emergency response, education, aerospace, medicine, and much more.
“This was a great experience for kids and we really appreciate the support of our community to make it happen,” shared Patricia Cardenas, College & Career Technician, who coordinated the event. “Thanks to the dedicated professionals for volunteering their time and thanks to our PTSA for all the hard work that went into planning and executing such a great event.”
