Lakeview students “spark energy” through hands-on science lesson

Lakeview students

Lakeview Elementary School fourth graders in Mrs. Lester’s class explored energy in the new TWIG Science unit “Spark Energy Inc.” They enjoyed the hands-on activities of building electrical circuits to make a light bulb illuminate. They challenged themselves while making wind turbines using small motors propelled by the wind. In Benchmark’s “New Technologies for a Green Future” students continued learning about renewable energy resources. Way to go, Lions!
