The week before spring recess, Esperanza High School celebrated and recognized the students who are on track to graduate with a Distinguished Scholar diploma with a taco lunch. Approximately 150 underclassmen and 43 seniors were invited.
Each year students who qualify earn a taco lunch and a keepsake. To qualify, students take the most rigorous courses and must maintain a high GPA. Freshmen earn a sticker, sophomores earn a lanyard, juniors earn a tumbler cup, and seniors earn a t-shirt and a yellow gown at graduation! Congrats to all these hard-working students.
