Kraemer students enjoy a special career-focused presentation courtesy of school’s nutrition services team

Kraemer Middle School nutrition services.

At Kraemer Middle, every student has the opportunity to enrich their education during the school’s PRIDE tutorial period. Every Friday, students get the opportunity to choose and attend an enrichment session. Sessions include a wide range of options including Baking Club, Recycling Club, Soccer, Board Games, Orchestra, and more.

On May 5, the school’s nutrition services staff invited a local dietician to present about her career to Kraemer students. In celebration of Cinco de Mayo, students enjoyed homemade salsa thanks to our nutrition team. They also enjoyed freshly made cucumber lemonade while Dietician Tori Magana presented her career and healthy eating options to engaged students.

New Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss happened to be touring Kraemer Middle’s campus and was invited to attend this special session. Dr. Cherniss engaged with staff and students while enjoying the provided treats that were served to him. According to Principal Michael Young, he expressed his gratitude for the staff going above and beyond their normal responsibilities to provide this opportunity for Kraemer students.

A special thanks to Kraemer’s nutrition staff including Vicki Self, Sonia Jimenez, Divia Bennett, and Hiral Patel as well as Career Presenter, Tori Magana.
