On Wednesday, Jan. 27, the Tynes Elementary School PTA hosted a fundraiser dinner at McDonald’s on the corner of Chapman and Placentia avenues titled “McTeacher Night.” Principal Dr. Debra Silverman, Assistant Principal Christa Borgese and several teachers from Tynes showed up in force to don an apron and serve their students. Staff members poured drinks, brought trays to families, cleaned tables and had a fabulous time waiting on the families of Tynes! We had a gRRRRReat turnout, and raised almost $800. A big thank you to the PTA for arranging the fundraiser, to the staff for dedicating their evening and to all the families who came out to support our school. It was McWonderful!
