Stand-up comedian, teacher entertains Esperanza staff at annual breakfast

To end the semester at Esperanza High School, stand-up comedian Mark Schumacher performed for teachers at the school’s annual staff breakfast.

Esperanza invited Mark to do his routine for the whole staff to help build school culture, as well as have a fun day to end the semester.

Mark Schumacher is a high school teacher and stand-up comedian. He has written comedy for the Los Angeles Times, and in 2012 was names Orange County’s “Funniest Person.” This past summer, he was selected as one of the top 100 comedians in the country, and appeared on the reality show “Last Comic Standing” on NBC. He started his teaching career teaching English in China and Taiwan, and spent the last eight years teaching at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Rancho Santa Margarita.

It was a great way to end the semester, and gear up for the second half of the year!
