Woodsboro, Golden students shine at “Battle of the Books”

On Saturday, Feb. 6, hundreds of students in fourth through sixth grade fought hard at Battle of the Books, sponsored by the Yorba Linda Public Library. Working in teams of up to five people, these students read 20 books, and spent hours studying the details of each storyline to prepare for the competition at Yorba Linda High School.

A team consisting of Woodsboro Elementary School student Krishi Shah and Golden Elementary School students Anay Dagli, Viraj Jansari, Harshil Shah and Parth Shah won first place in the sixth through eighth grade division (pictured above).
