Rose Drive partners with Make-A-Wish

Rose Drive Elementary School’s student leadership group, T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) Roadrunners –partnering with the Clothes for the Cause fundraising organization –organized a shoe drive, and collected 895 pounds of shoes! They also raised $300, and all the money will go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Make-A-Wish grants children who have life-threatening medical conditions a wish in the hopes of making them feel stronger and healthier, and allowing them to forget about being sick for a while. Elina Oda from Clothes for the Cause helped Rose Drive with this event.
