The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) just announced its “You Are the Advantage” PYLUSD Employee of the Year awards for the 2015-2016 school year.
These employees were nominated by one or more of their colleagues or supervisors, who detailed the outstanding contributions the candidate provides to the district that go above and beyond normal duties. The nominating person also described how the employee demonstrates the district’s four core values of excellence, collaboration, integrity and innovation.
“On behalf of the Board of Education, I’d just like to congratulate and thank all of our Employees of the Year,” said Superintendent Doug Domene. “I am so fortunate to work alongside these talented, hardworking individuals. Through collaboration and creativity, they tirelessly lead our district, and always live out our motto: every student, every day, whatever it takes.”

The Employee of the Year Selection Committee made their choices after reviewing all of the compelling nominations. PYLUSD has the absolute best and most caring employees, so the task of making this final selection was very difficult.
The winners will also be recognized at a PYLUSD Board of Education meeting in April.
The district would like to thank all Employee of the Year nominees for the work they do every day to prepare each and every PYLUSD student for success now and in the future.
