The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District and the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce, working with the Placentia Chamber of Commerce, sponsored “Principal for a Day” on Wednesday, March 16. Business leaders and community members were selected by the Chamber to tour a school in the district in the morning, and then meet back at the district office for a special luncheon.
The guests got a chance to “walk in the shoes” of each school’s principal. Many of them gave the morning announcements, toured classes and had the chance to connect with students one-on-one. The experience also provided an opportunity for the district to demonstrate what makes their schools so special — the students, teachers, facilities, technology and community support.
We grateful for the collaboration between PYLUSD and our community partners. Working so closely with the chambers and area businesses just one small part of “The Advantage.”
