It’s a busy week for El Dorado High School’s ED LAW Academy! In addition to a welcome reception, the Academy was pleased to host two different professional exposure opportunities on Tuesday, March 22. El Dorado alumnus Gerard Gully visited at lunch (during his spring break from UCLA School of Law) to take student questions, provide insight into common law and legal thinking, and offer a sampling of his One-L (first year in law school) torts class experience. In the evening, EDHS alumna Allison Takeda – who is now associate director of admissions and diversity initiatives for Chapman University School of Law – came to a business law class with two third-year law students to field student questions about the college and graduate school admissions process, their collegiate experiences, and how to maximize opportunities during high school.
