Congratulations to the Yorba Linda High School speech and debate students who competed at the California speech state championship tournament last weekend in Santa Clara.
The Mustangs who competed are: Caroline Birchfield, Ryan Birchfield, Gavin Gondalwala, Joey Jovanelly, Sammy Kassab, Brandon Kuo, Jenny Nagel, Kelly Nguyen, Darshan Patel, Bridgette Roberts, Jessica Sardina and Tianna White.
Kudos to “Congress” semifinalist Gavin Gondalwala and “Duo Interpretation” semifinalists Jenny Nagel and Sammy Kassab, as they finished in the top 20 in the state of California.
The YLHS speech and debate team is coached by English teacher Charlene Dagampat.
