Emily Park is Parkview’s resident ballet superstar

Emily Park is a sixth grader at Parkview School. She started dancing at the age of nine, training at the Orange County Performing Arts Academy (OCPAA) in Anaheim Hills. At age 10, she moved on to ballet at the Yorba Linda Academy of Ballet (YLAB).

Emily has many accomplishments under her young belt.

In 2015, she was the Rainbow Dance Competition Dancer of the Year runner up, and, in 2016, she received the Dance Junior Non-stop Dancer runner up award. She has placed first in many overalls, and won a national championship with her group dances in several dance competitions, such as Kids Artistic Revue (KAR), Hall of Fame, Starpower, Showbiz, 24 Seven and Showstopper.

This past December, Emily performed in The Nutcracker at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT). She was recently accepted into ABT’s Summer Intensive dance program, and also received a scholarship from Joffrey Ballet.

Recently, she was accepted into the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) Commercial Dance program!

Parkview is very proud of Emily’s achievements. Not only is she an accomplished dancer, but she’s also an “A” student taking higher-level courses.

Bravo Emily!
