Mr. Ames, a Rose Drive Elementary School parent, helped kindergartners culminate their farm unit by bringing in some special visitors. He brought three of the family’s pet chickens to provide the students with a hands-on lesson about what and how chickens eat, how they sleep, lay their eggs and much more. The students were thrilled to meet their new feathered friends!
