Trustee Buck and H.I.S. House donate quilts for upcoming food distribution

Board of Education Trustee Carrie Buck, who is also the director of Homeless Intervention Shelter (H.I.S.) House, brought over ten large bags full of homemade quilts and blankets for our upcoming Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County distribution at Topaz Elementary School on Wednesday, Oct. 14. The quilts were donated to H.I.S. House by the Orange County Quilters Guild. The homeless shelter had so many quilts, that they decided to pay it forward, and re-donate them to our families. Thank you Trustee Buck!
