Parkview School held its class of 2016 commencement on Tuesday, June 14, at the Valencia High School auditorium. Board of Education President Judi Carmona, Board of Education Clerk Carol Downey, Superintendent Doug Domene, Assistant Superintendent David Giordano and Principal Kathie DiRocco were a few of the honored guests.
Twenty-two seniors graduated. Isabella Zonni received the Parkview Booster Scholarship and the Placentia Linda Unified Managers (PLUM) Award, and presented the 2016 Valediction. Matthew Caballero received the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce Scholarship. Sarah Babishoff and Sarah Curlee received SchoolsFirst Scholarships. Nathan Walaszek was presented with a military challenge coin by Superintendent Domene.
An eighth grade promotion ceremony was also held concurrently.
