The Yorba Linda Woman’s Club recently awarded $2,000 academic and vocational scholarships to high school students for excellence in the classroom and in the community. Matthew Caballero (Parkview School), Corina Deiters, Catherine Han, Sierra Stevens and Cailyn Ware (Yorba Linda High School), and Hannah Lentz (El Dorado High School) were all chosen from a pool of more than 50 applicants. Board of Education Trustee Carrie Buck and Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services Candy Plahy were on hand to honor their personal and scholastic achievements, as well as and their service to others.
