Yorba Linda Middle School honored in Washington, D.C., as a “School to Watch”

On Thursday, June 23, representatives from Yorba Linda Middle School and the district office went to Washington, D.C., for a special ceremony honoring YLMS for their recent designation as a model middle grades school in the 2015-2016 “Schools to Watch™ – Taking Center Stage” program.

This initiative was launched by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform, an alliance of over 60 educators, researchers and officers of professional organizations committed to promoting the academic performance and healthy development of adolescents.
