Esperanza’s Bronson Osborn wins first medal for Team USA at track competition in Poland

Congrats to Esperanza High School incoming senior Bronson Osborn for earning Team USA’s first medal – a bronze – at the 2016 IAAF World Under 20 Track and Field Championships on Tuesday, July 19, at Zawisza Stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland!

Bronson’s third herculean throw of 21.27 meters (69 feet, 9-1/2 inches) broke a 37-year-old national high school record. It was also more than a meter farther than his previous career best.
