Got lice?

District Nurses Michelle DeHaven and Shari Dunn recently received lice treatment kits for PYLUSD students. These kits were provided with funds from the Education for Homeless Children and Youths program grant. This is one of the benefits the grant provides our low-income children and families.

Many of our families can’t afford lice treatment kits, and their children can often end up missing days of school, which negatively affects their academic progress. Providing these kits helps students get back to school more quickly.

If you would like to donate lice treatment kits to the school district for our low-income students, contact Jon Matson by phone at 714-986-7028, or by email at jmatson@pylusd.org.

Thank you!
