On Tuesday, Sept. 27, Melrose Elementary School hosted the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Both Melrose and Valadez Middle School Academy families are invited to attend this monthly food distribution event that provides fresh fruits and vegetables to participants. Students from Valadez were also on hand to help with the distribution. PYLUSD counts on our volunteers to make this event a success. Parent and student volunteers arrived early to set up the giveaway items “Farmers Market Style,” distribute and assist with clean up.
