On Wednesday, Oct. 5, students at Glenknoll Elementary School celebrated National Walk to School Day by planning ahead and leaving a few minutes earlier in order to walk to school. Sheriff deputies and highway patrol officers were stationed in front of the school handing out stickers to students. In addition, students were greeted at the front gate with a bottle of water for their efforts. It was the perfect day for a morning walk!
