Van Buren students carve pumpkins, teachers get dressed up on Halloween

Van Buren Elementary School sixth graders continued a 20-year tradition of carving pumpkins on Halloween. The special judge this year was Superintendent Dr. Greg Plutko and Principal Mrs. Connie Roe. Prizes were given for the top three pumpkin carvers.

Additionally, Van Buren first grade teachers channeled their inner pirates and sailed into a wonderful day on Monday, Oct. 31.
