Yorba Linda High and Cal State Fullerton donate Christmas trees, toys to less fortunate

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Yorba Linda High School boys baseball team donated 40 Christmas trees to needy families at Rio Vista Elementary School. Special thanks to those who supported this program by purchasing or donating trees.

The California State University, Fullerton, College of Education joined in on the giving by donating toys to the children as well.

On the behalf of the team, baseball coach Matt Stine was presented with the Rio Vista challenge coin by Rio Vista Assistant Principal Guillermina Flores-Magana. This coin was given to the team for their annual contributions and donations during the holiday season.
