On Tuesday, Dec. 13, three members of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) Board of Education – Mrs. Judi Carmona, Mrs. Carol Downey and Mr. Eric Padget – took their oath of office after being reelected to the Board this past November.
Then, during the meeting, all five Board members voted to have a seamless and harmonious transfer of power. As is custom, the Board voted to transition positions to different members – the new President is Karin Freeman, the new Vice President is Carol Downey and the new Clerk is Carrie Buck. Eric Padget and Judi Carmona are the two at-large Trustees.
Superintendent Dr. Greg Plutko presented outgoing President Judi Carmona with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her fabulous year of service as leader of the Board of Education.
