Brookhaven fourth grader Rylen Jones saves grandmother’s life

The Orange County Register featured a story on Brookhaven Elementary School fourth grader Rylen Jones, who used CPR to help save his grandmother’s life. Back in June, 10-year-old Rylen rushed to his grandmother’s side after she experienced a sudden cardiac arrest. Authorities said his actions directly contributed to his grandmother’s survival. Orange County Fire Authority Battalion Chief Michael Blawn presented Rylen with a Certificate of Merit for his quick actions.
