Congratulations to four Yorba Linda High School students – seniors Adam Carrillo and Cory Hoo, junior Michael Frelly, and freshman Natalie Suvarnasuddhi – for being named the Orange County Register “Artists of the Week.” These talented musicians marched as part of the Pasadena City College Tournament of Roses Parade Honor Band on Monday, Jan. 2.

The Tournament of Roses Honor Band has performed in every Rose Parade since 1930. The ensemble includes musicians from Pasadena City College’s Lancer Marching Band, as well as distinguished high school musicians from throughout Southern California. More than 500 students auditioned this year for 160 spots in the band, four of which were filled by students from YLHS.
