On Thursday, Jan. 26, El Dorado High School ED LAW Academy Coordinator Sunshine Cavalluzzi and fellow teacher and Mock Trial coach Dana McIntosh accompanied several ED LAW freshmen to Brookhaven Elementary School to help the students there assemble their own Mock Trial: People v. Harry Potter. Next month, the Brookhaven Bears will try the case in front of more ED LAW students serving as jurors and coaches.
ED LAW is one of several PYLUSD CareerLink Academies. This legal advocacy and workforce readiness program prepares students for college and career success with a focus on legal studies.
