Golden’s third annual science night is no rainout

Parents and students from Golden Elementary School crowded around tables to watch a cardiac stent being placed in a sheep heart. Girls and boys were up to their elbows in “Oobleck,” and families estimated and then tested how many drops of water could fit on a penny. Golden’s annual science night was a huge hit. A cold rainy evening may have eclipsed the telescope event, but it did not dampen the love for science that the school community shares. Over 500 students and their parents were enthralled!
