This year marked Travis Ranch School’s 20th annual play performance. The Lion King Jr. was performed at the district’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) last weekend, and included 200 students in two casts. The K-8 cast practiced twice a week for two hours each day for 12 weeks, which totaled about 48 hours of practice. What’s equally impressive is the over 1,500 hours parents volunteered to support both practices and the performance. The entire Travis Ranch community wants to extend its sincere gratitude to the PTA, parents and students for continuing to support performing arts. Last year, Travis Ranch was awarded the California Exemplary Arts Education Program Award.
