Ribbon-cutting ceremony for Valencia’s remodeled auditorium

On Thursday, Feb. 2, PYLUSD held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Valencia High School’s recently remodeled auditorium.

The auditorium, which was originally constructed in 1936, was completely renovated and modernized during the 2015-2016 school year. The theater now features a new control booth, light lock, seating arrangement with new red cloth seats, wood wainscoting, window treatments, an acoustic wall treatment, coffered ceiling detailed per original architect plans, pendant lights and several other additions.
