AVID proving, once again, to be a huge success at Valencia

At the end of first semester at Valencia High School, 68 percent of AVID students achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher. This represents 222 students, nearly all of whom are socioeconomically disadvantaged, and are the first generation in their family to pursue post-secondary education. All of them are taking the A-G requirements, and many are also enrolled in honors, advanced placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) courses.

The Valencia AVID staff has incredible devotion to equity and access to rigor for all students. Thanks to everyone working with and on behalf of Valencia AVID students!
