Congratulations to the Esperanza High School dance team who traveled to Florida this past week to compete against hundreds of other dancers from across the United States. The Aztecs returned home three-time national champions! Esperanza took first in small jazz, lyrical and contemporary, and third place in hip hop. Additionally, they received choreography awards for their small jazz and extra small lyrical.
Katie Hunter placed eighth overall in the junior division, and, out of more than 100 soloists, Kelsey Higgins placed ninth overall, Gigi Gusman placed sixth overall and Mackenzie Mosman placed fourth overall in the senior division!
Congratulations the Esperanza dance team and Coach Jason Bittner. Way to represent Esperanza!
