Tuffree Middle School’s seventh and eighth grade AVID classes had the opportunity to find what it would be like to be a geography student at California State University, Fullerton. Students participated in a brief lecture by geography professors to learn more about careers in this fascinating field of science. In addition, students were able to work in a computer lab with the latest geographic information systems (GIS) to build digital maps.
