Congratulations to the Valencia High School Speech and Debate Club for a spectacular performance at the California State Championships in Speech and Debate!
Competing against 60 of California’s best Impromptu speakers, Ethan Thio, 11, advanced all the way to the final round of the state championship, placing second overall in the tournament. Ethan finishes off the season as not only two time defending Orange County League Champion in Impromptu Speech, but also the second best Impromptu speaker in the State of California!
The support of Coach Chathi Anderson and Teacher-Advisor Leslie Rose served as the foundation for the Tiger’s success. Great job!
