Congratulations to Golden Elementary School sixth graders Maya Leonard, Anaise Lerner, and Grace Choo for winning first place in the Muzeo TrashARTist Challenge for sixth, seventh, and eighth graders. Their masterpiece titled, “Circle of Love,” was created using only plastic jugs, magazine paper, paper towel cardboard rolls, water bottles, recycled tubing, and paint.
Each year, the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center holds the TrashARTist Challenge county-wide art contest to promote zero-waste recycling by encouraging students to turn trash to art.
