Well-known advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities speaks at El Dorado High

El Dorado class listening to guest speaker.

El Dorado High School AP Government and Politics students were privileged on Tuesday, May 16, to have the opportunity to meet and learn from David Egan, an advocate for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Mr. Egan is a Special Olympics Global Messenger, has spoken to the United Nations and testified before the Senate, and recently served as a Joseph P. Kennedy Fellow on Capitol Hill.  The Golden Hawks were thankful for his time and inspired by his story and his example.
