On Tuesday, May 23, the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District honored its retiring certificated, classified, and management employees with a special recognition ceremony before the Board of Education meeting.
Loved ones, fellow staff members, and district representatives gathered to hear Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, Kevin Lee, along with Directors of Personnel Services, Nancy Blade and Rick Lopez, introduce each retiree and recall highlights from their careers.
Although emotional at times, the evening was a special, celebratory way to end the retiree’s dedicated careers in the PYLUSD.
