El Camino Real High recognized as 2016 Model Continuation High School

The Model Continuation High School Recognition Program identifies and recognizes outstanding continuation high schools. Model schools provide comprehensive services to at-risk youth through the use of exemplary instructional strategies, flexible scheduling, and guidance and counseling services. The California Department of Education encourages continuation high schools that meet the eligibility criteria to submit an application to the Model Continuation High School Recognition Program.

In 2016, El Camino Real High School was selected to be a Model Continuation High School through the application process. This is very important recognition for the El Camino Raptors and a source of pride for students, staff, and the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. In addition to receiving this prestigious recognition in 2016, El Camino Real also received the award in 1996, 2003, and 2009.  Keep up the good work, Raptors!
