Rose Drive Elementary School fifth grade student Sam Boone has developed such a passion for the district’s new math concepts, that he cannot wait to continue to practice them once school lets out.
Using his mom’s (who happens to be a teacher at Rose Drive) white board as the canvas, he takes it upon himself to review recent discoveries in math, while also teaching his mom all that he learned during the day.
Sam is pictured with his latest teachings, demonstrating multiple ways to solve the same addition problem.
Way to go Sam! How proud your fifth grade teachers must be to observe this dedication to your studies. This kind of passion is contagious, and we commend you for sharing your love and interest for the new methods you are learning.
