Golden GATE fourth graders entertain school with ‘Gold Dust or Bust’

Golden Elementary students performing a gold rush show.

From “sleepy Northern California” to the rush for gold and then the bustle of “busy Northern California”, Golden Elementary School students learned all about the history of California in a fun, music and dance-filled performance by the fourth grade GATE students. Mrs. Hanna and Mrs. McDonald, with artistic direction from beloved volunteer Carol Friedrichs, directed a top-rate performance that impressed and educated their school-wide audience. It was an incredible way to culminate their study and share their learning of the California Gold Rush.
