On Friday, June 9, George Key School held a commencement ceremony for their Class of 2017 graduates — Jose Medina (pictured above, left) and John Rheeyoin (pictured above, right).

Fellow students, loved ones, and staff members gathered to celebrate the two young men as Principal Smith spoke about both of the student’s impactful time at George Key.

The small ceremony included a long list of honored guests including Board of Education President, Karin Freeman, Trustee, Judi Carmona, Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services, Candy Plahy, and Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, Kevin Lee.

After a video presentation filled with pictures of Jose and John throughout the years, Principal Smith presented the boys with their certificates of completion. All those in attendance then enjoyed cake in honor of the graduates.

Congrats, Jose and John!
