Every year, Bernardo Yorba Middle School (BYMS) puts on an annual luncheon to help provide an opportunity for new students to make school connections. All students new to the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) were invited to participate and enjoy lunch, social time, and fun games planned by the school’s administration, office staff, activities director, and ASB students.
Matador leadership groups have vowed to make connections with the school’s new members throughout the year. For this first event, the smiles on the new students’ faces said it all — it was a great success!
